As a child, I first fell in love with blossoms after discovering a field of wildflowers while on a nature hike at Girl Scout camp. I was in awe of the overwhelming beauty. For every special occasion and accomplishment, my grandmother always had fresh-cut flower bouquets sent to me. I was always so overwhelmed by her thoughtfulness and the beauty of each posy. As a teen, I delivered floral bouquets for a florist with my grandfather. The delight and joy the flowers gave the recipients were wonderful! Today, I paint vibrant blooms to evoke the same cheer.
